How does it work?
We've designed and built our SMS Module to interface and talk to major SMS providers, including SMSTech and Message Media. Our module allows you to both send ad-hoc messages to customers, as well as templated SMSes that can bring in merged CRM data to send relevant messaging to customers.
Our standard connector will allow you to:
- Send ad-hoc messages to contacts and leads.
- Send templated messages to contacts and leads and build a library of your own SMS templates.
Other Use Cases
We also provide support for custom triggers that can be set-up and configured through our professional services team for job SMSes:
- Send templated SMSes based on the status update of a job.
- Send templated SMSes based on a time frame elapsed from a date or leading up to a date of a job.
What are the benefits of incorporating SMS into your communication channels?
First and foremost, SMS is the most commonly used channel of communication on the planet. Here are a few reasons you'd want to consider incorporating SMS into your Field Service suite.
1. Instant Deliverability
SMS is lightning fast, literally putting your message into your subscribers’ pockets seconds after you send. The average time for all mobile service providers and SMS services is often less than 7 seconds from send to received. Nothing compares to the speed of SMS.
2. High Open Rate
This means your message is GOING to be read. This is important if you are alerting your customer to an issue, or just providing an update.
3. Personal and Convenient
SMS is personal, because it's the way we speak to our friends and family. It's also the most convenient way of being kept informed in short, concise messages.
