Accessing Variables in Document Templates

Step-by-Step Instructions

   Hey guys, ah, so here's a, a breakdown of, ah, how we go and access our variables for our templates and our document templates.

   So what we're going to do is in our document template section, we're going to go into our customer invoices. Ah, and what we can see is we've got our basic templates here.

   Now we wrap some of the complex stuff in, say, customer invoice, for example. That's cool. Ah, but what I can do is I can access a sample payload here.

   This is a JSON payload. You can see in the invoice we've got, ah, the customer details, ah, we've got the line items, ah,

   we've got the job details, and any other additional details. Okay, so this is, how we're able to do this,

   okay? Ah, we can also see the, you know, the related time, materials, entries, all that sort of information. So this is true of all record types.
