Creating and Managing Quote Templates in FieldMagic
🎯 Objective
This guide outlines how to create, apply, and manage quote templates in FieldMagic to streamline the quoting process and ensure consistency across jobs.
1️⃣ Select Client and Site
- Start by selecting the client you’re quoting for.
- Choose the relevant site associated with that client.
🆕 Create a New Quote
- Accept or update the default client contacts.
- Click to begin creating a new quote.
📝 Pre-Populate Quote Details
- To save time, choose an existing quote template.
- This will automatically fill in the cover letter and line items for the quote.
✏️ Create a New Template
- To build a new template, first create a quote version.
- Add standard products, parts, and labor as needed.
💾 Save the Template
- Once you've entered all quote details, click Create Quote.
- Name the quote (e.g., “Parts and Labour Quote”) to save it as a reusable template.
♻️ Reuse Templates for Future Quotes
- When creating new quotes, select the saved template to pre-fill fields automatically.
- This helps speed up quoting and ensures consistency in presentation and pricing.
🛠️ Manage Quote Templates
- Go to the Quote Templates section in the system.
- From here, you can edit, rename, or delete templates as needed.
