👥 User Invitation and Management
🎯 Objective
This SOP outlines how to invite and manage users in the system, ensuring they have the correct access level and are properly configured for system-wide functionality.
🛠️ Step 1: Access User Management
- Log in as an admin
- Navigate to Settings > Manage Users
➕ Step 2: Add a New User
- Enter the user’s name
- Choose their Access Level:
- Desktop
- Admin
- Full
🔐 Step 3: Set Password & Send Welcome Email
- Choose to auto-generate or manually set a password
- Send the welcome email to the user or yourself
💾 Step 4: Save User Details
- Click Save to complete setup
- Confirm the user appears in the list (e.g., “Joe Smith”)
🚫 Step 5: Manage User Status
- Mark users as Inert to disable access
- Options available:
- Reset password
- Resend welcome email
⚙️ Step 6: Configure Preferences
- Set user visibility for:
- Scheduler
- Timesheets
- Assign:
- Job title
- Billing category
💸 Step 7: Set Additional Info
- Enter hourly cost for budgeting and forecasting
- Assign a default warehouse if applicable
📧 Step 8: Notification Preferences
- Choose whether the user receives email notifications for assigned tasks
