October End of Month Update: Feature Enhancements and Bug Fixes

This week's update introduces enhancements and critical bug fixes to improve usability and customization. Enhancements include an editable Job Type dropdown, a label change from "Sent to Client" to "Received From Supplier," and improved tagging features with automatic label color adjustments. Bug fixes address issues such as the Domain dropdown retaining entries for 7 days, support for custom numbers, resolved document preview and chat feature issues, the visibility of the Department field, accurate timesheet edits, and fixed overflow issues in the Items module.

Enhancements:

  • The Job Type dropdown is now editable, allowing users to customize and add unique job types.
  • The label “Sent to Client” has been updated to “Received From Supplier.”
  • Improved Tagging Features
    • Tag label colors now automatically adjust based on tag color.
    • Individual tag management is now available for each module:
    • Leads, Customers, Sites, Contacts, Jobs, Quotes, Items, Customer Invoices, Supplier Invoices, Purchase Orders.

Bug Fixes:

  • Enhanced domain dropdown now retains previously used domain names for up to 7 days, preventing reuse across multiple clients.
  • Users can now enter custom numbers, but numbers must leave the field blank to use the system-generated prefix and number.
  • Document previews and "Send via Chat" features now work as expected for both internal and external messages.
  • Tasks will now display the correct customer name when opened from a push notification.
  • Special characters are now supported in materials logged within a Job.
  • No issues when attaching checklists to customer invoice emails.
  • Data synchronization now prevents completed jobs from reverting to "scheduled" when a new task is created.
  • The Department field is now available in Job - Work Order and Customer Invoice line items when department tracking is enabled.
  • Timesheets display accurate time entries after edits. Adjusting time entries will generate a new shift, and timesheets can now be exported without restrictions.
  • Resolved issue where View, Edit, and Delete icons were not visible in the Items module due to overflow.
