Key Enhancements
- Supplier Name in POs and SIs: Supplier names have been added to the related lists for Purchase Orders and Supplier Invoices, improving visibility and searchability.
- Email Template Management: Email Templates are now found under "Resources" for easier access. Users can manage their own templates and share them securely.
- Enhanced Search Functionality: Users can now search using related module display names, allowing for more comprehensive and efficient searches across records.
- Advanced Reporting: The Advanced Report Module provides customizable analysis and visualization of content data, with advanced filtering and interactive dashboards for actionable insights.
New Features
1. Add Supplier Name to POs and SIs Related Lists
Overview: To improve visibility and context when managing Purchase Orders (POs) and Supplier Invoices (SIs), we have added the supplier name to their respective related lists.
Key Features:
- The supplier name will now appear alongside each PO and SI in their related lists.
- This enhancement allows users to quickly identify which supplier corresponds to each document without needing to navigate away from the list.
- Improved searchability and filtering capabilities based on supplier name, enabling users to find relevant POs and SIs more efficiently.
2. Email Template Accessibility and Management
Overview: We have revamped the Email Templates feature to enhance user control and privacy.
Key Features:
- Location Change: Email Templates have been relocated under the "Resources" section in the mega menu for easier access.
- User Restrictions: By default, users will only have access to:
- Templates they have created.
- Templates shared by others, provided the "Share Template" checkbox is checked for those templates.
- Edit/Delete Permissions: Users now have the ability to edit or delete their own email templates, empowering them to manage their resources effectively.
This change ensures that templates remain organized and only accessible to those who should have access, enhancing both security and usability.
3. Search by Related Module Display Name
Overview: To facilitate more comprehensive searches within modules, we have enabled the ability to search by related module display names.
Key Features:
- Users can now search for relevant information using not just primary identifiers (e.g., job number) but also by part of related display names, such as customer names or site names.
- This flexibility allows for broader and more efficient searches, significantly improving user experience, especially when dealing with numerous records.
- The enhanced search functionality ensures that users can quickly locate jobs, contacts, or other related entities by leveraging the display names associated with them.
4. Advanced Reporting
Overview: The Advanced Report Module offers in-depth, customizable analysis and visualization of content data, featuring advanced filtering options and interactive dashboards to deliver actionable insights.
Key Features:
- Create and update reports using Elasticsearch as the data source.
- Visualize data through charts (Bar or Line graphs).
- Access data in a list view format.
- Export generated report data as CSV.
