Week 3 of April 2025: Mid-Month Enhancements: Smarter, Faster, Better

Enhancements:

• Simplify adding of users to the organization.
• Recurring Jobs Enhancements
  • Updates to Recurring Jobs and Invoices:
    
    • When Billable is enabled in the Recurring Jobs form, the Billing Type field is now displayed, replacing the Amount field.
    • The Period field in both Recurring Jobs and Recurring Invoices has been replaced with Repeated Every, allowing for interval-based inputs (e.g., every 3 months, every 2 days).
    • In the Generate Scheduled Jobs filter, the label ‘Technician’ has been updated to ‘Assigned User’.
    • Within the Recurring Jobs form, the fields Due Date, Schedule Automatically, and Automatically Create have been moved to a dedicated Schedule tab.
      
    Per Asset Billing Enhancements (Flexible Invoicing Style):
    
    • When the Billing Type is set to Per Asset Billing in a Job:
      
      • Only assets not marked as 'Awaiting Completion' will be included in the invoice.
      • The Notes field on the invoice line will read: “Servicing for: [Asset Type]”.
      • The Quantity will reflect the number of assets attached to the Job.
      • The Sell Price will use the per-asset rate, if one was specified during Recurring Job setup.
  • Add first and last name to add users dialog as required fields
  • Improve password generation
  • Add ability to include full asset checklists report in job inspection summary

Fixes:

• Fixed an issue where users couldn't see records assigned to them due to Department restrictions.
• The Amount Due is now updated automatically when the total line amount is modified in a Customer Invoice.
• Resolved an issue where job creation failed or behaved unexpectedly for customers with multiple sites.
• When enabling Custom Location, changes to customer site addresses will only apply to open jobs — completed or cancelled jobs will not be affected.
• Allow custom dropdown options to import wizard
• Fix invalid time error when importing records with date/datetime columns
• Fix unique increment field error during importing records
• Add ttl to user data cache to 1hr and properly invalidate user data cache after updating access level data and user data
• Properly validate email address when adding new users
• Fix intermittent issue when adding users and the generated password is weak
• Fix internal server error when editing a job and adding a new asset caused by line items on related recurring job to contain an asset type id.

Enhancements:

• Checklist Enhancements
  • Required Before Conditions Expanded: The Required Before condition now supports Job, Asset, and Quote checklists, ensuring completion before key actions.
  • Checklist Widget in Quote View: A new checklist widget has been added directly to the Quote view, making it easier to manage associated tasks at a glance.
